“One of the problems globally in fighting terror is the distinction being made between Palestinian terrorism and other global terrorist organizations,” political commentator Caroline Glick told foreign diplomats at the December 6 Jerusalem Post conference. “This distinction is both morally atrocious, but also something that blocks and make ineffective the fight against terror.”
Glick accused European diplomats of accepting Palestinian terrorism, while they come out strongly against terrorism perpetrated by Islamic extremist in their own communities. She said that empowering any terrorists empowers all the terrorists.
“They know if they hang around long enough they will be redefined as good terrorists,” Glick said, accusing the European Union of differentiating between Palestinian terrorist and other organizations. “Not recognizing the reality that forces of terrorism are equally pernicious and must all be fought has been debilitating for Israel and the nations of the world.”
