Meir Panim is gearing up to feed the tens of thousands of needy Israelis who will be flocking to its branches across Israel on the High Holidays.
For Passover, the Israeli NGO provides some 25,000 meals, 15,000 holiday baskets and two million shekel-worth of grocery shopping cards.
For weeks, Meir Panim staff and volunteers have been working on preparing food gifts, and making sure that all the patrons have what they need to celebrate the holiday.
