Israeli Supermodel Bar Refaeli took to Twitter on Wednesday, demanding that former Pink Floyd front-man, Roger Waters, stop using her picture in his show, after Waters wrote an open letter to artists worldwide to boycott Israel, according to The Times of Israel. In Hebrew, Refaeli tweeted “Roger Waters, you better take my picture off of the video art at your , shows. If you’re boycotting — go all the way,” Her image is one of dozens displayed on a screen during Water’s show.

On Tuesday, Waters had continued beating the drum of anti-Israel propaganda, writing an open letter beginning “I write to you now, my brothers and sisters in the family of Rock and Roll, to ask you to join with me, and thousands of other artists around the world, to declare a cultural boycott on Israel,” the Times reported.

The former Pink Floyd front man said he was inspired to release the letter after British violinist Nigel Kennedy called Israel an apartheid state at a recent promenade concert at the Albert Hall in London. In an unexpected move, the BBC said it would remove his remarks in rebroadcasts of the concert.

Waters has been a long time proponent of the Boycott, Divestment and Sanction movement, a movement hell-bent on the deligitimization of Israel, saying that first a trickle of artists refused to play there, leading to a “flood.” Specifically, Waters pointed to music legend Stevie Wonder’s canceling of a performance for the Friends of the Israel Defense Forces as a recent success story. Wonder quit his participation in the December fundraiser at the last minute under pressure from many corners. “Please join me and all our brothers and sisters in global civil society in proclaiming our rejection of Apartheid in Israel and occupied Palestine, by pledging not to perform or exhibit in Israel or accept any award or funding from any institution linked to the government of Israel, until such time as Israel complies with international law and universal principles of human rights,” Waters wrote.

Waters claim that many artists have in fact embraced the BDS of Israel has recently met a number of refutations. Music icons Eric Burdon, the former Animals frontman, as well as Alicia Keys ignored calls from the BDS community to cancel their Tel Aviv shows, with Keys even performing with Israeli music star Idan Richel on stage. Last week, longtime music legend Tom Jones announced he will perform in Tel Aviv on October 28 of this year, despite calls to boycott Israel. The Britsh pop duo, The Pet Shop Boys, ignored similar calls as well.

Waters has faced further backlash from the Jewish community in recent weeks after it was discovered that he uses an anti-Semitic display during his concerts. Over the last few years, during Waters’ shows,  a huge inflated balloon in the shape of a wild boar with a prominently visible Star of David, as well as a hammer and sickle, crosses and a dollar sign, among other symbols. The Simon Wiesenthal Center, among other Jewish advocacy groups have called on Waters to remove the offensive display from his performances.
