A family in Gaza has proudly named their newborn son “Knife of Jerusalem” in “solidarity” with those Palestinian terrorists responsible for the dozens of attacks on Israelis this past month.

Father Mohammed Abu Shebika invited journalists to view the baby in his home in Rafah, located in the southern Gaza Strip. Shebika showed off the birth certificate of the baby as well as a Palestinian flag draped newborn for a special photo-op.

In a video translated and posted by media-watchdog group MEMRI, Shebika proclaims, “Allah has given me a new baby, and I’ve named him ‘Knife of Jerusalem’ after the intifada of the knives.”

The name was chosen “in support of the blood of the martyrs…Giving him this name was the least I could do, even if many people don’t like it.”

Shebika called the current wave of terror “a new kind of revolution. Allah willing, the third intifada will not stop.”

The baby’s mother told reporters that the name was chosen “in solidarity with our people in the West Bank. This is the least we can do for them.”
