Radical Islam expert and Root Source lecturer Avi Lipkin shares insights about Islam that few people are willing to publicly address.

The author of five books, Lipkin was forced to write his first three books about radical Islam under the pseudonym Victor Mordecai for security reasons.

After running for the Israeli Knesset in 2011 as the head of a Judeo-Christian Bible Bloc party called “Gush Hatanakhi”, Lipkin finally revealed his true identity and wrote his next two books under his given name.

One of the few voices in the 1990s warning people about the coming of a major Islamic terrorist attack, following 9/11, his predictions became reality launching him as a much sought after international lecturer.

Speaking about the Islamic threat to the world, Lipkin has appeared in more than 1,000 churches and synagogues across the US, Canada, Mexico, UK, Norway, Finland, Holland, Belgium, Switzerland, Greece and Israel. Additionally, Lipkin has appeared on hundreds of radio and TV shows across the globe.

Lipkin is the face behind Root Source’s Five Deceptions of Islam learning channel, where people from around the world come to learn about the connection between Islamic extremism and the Bible.

Growing up in the greater New York City area, Lipkin moved to Israel at age 19 soon after the Six Day War, where he completed his studies at Hebrew University.

Fluent in English, Spanish and Hebrew, Lipkin worked for the Likud elections campaign and later as senior editor and translator in the Media Department of then Prime Minister Yitzhak Shamir’s Government Press Office. After graduating with a Master’s from the Jewish Theological Seminary, Lipkin’s speaking career was solidified.

Married to Rachel, an Egyptian born Jewess who works for Israel Radio monitoring Arabic language broadcasts on radio and TV as well as Arabic newspapers, Lipkin is on the cutting edge of keeping up to date on what Islamic countries are actually saying and doing.

Lipkin is clear about the growing threat of radical Islamic extremism. Though a self-proclaimed “lover of Muslims,” he teaches that there are fundamental differences between the Christian-Judeo faith and Islam. He instructs all that will listen how to prepare for the expected difficult and dangerous roads that lie ahead for Western Civilization.

Breaking Israel News sat down with Lipkin to discuss his latest venture to educate the masses on the warning signs of radical Islam.

Breaking Israel News: As an outspoken lecturer about radical Islam, do you fear becoming a target for extremists like what happened to Pam Geller who had her life threatened?

Lipkin: Absolutely! In 2009, I spoke against the initiative of Muslims to build minarets in Switzerland. Much to my efforts, the Swiss voted 57 percent against allowing the minarets. This led to me being convicted in absentia in a Swiss Court for “racial discrimination” and breaking the “freedom of religious and worship laws.” To this day, if I enter Switzerland, I will get arrested. I am basically a wanted man, both in Switzerland and by Muslims.

Breaking Israel News: How did you become a Root Source teacher?

Lipkin: Gidon Ariel (co-founder of Root Source) and I were friends. We would speak about what was happening in the world. I then met (co-founder of Root Source) Bob O’Dell and realized that we were all on the same page about the need to get the message out concerning what was happening in the world.

Breaking Israel News: If you’re life is threatened, why do you continue to speak so publicly about radical Islam?

Lipkin: Too many stayed silent during World War II and we know the results of that. The message of what is happening today must be heard by as many as possible. I am an independent lecturer so I say what I think needs to be said.

Breaking Israel News:You moved to Israel at age 19 in August 1968 just after the miraculous Six Day War. In your opinion, how are things different today in Israel then they were at that time?

Lipkin: In 1968, Israel had a population of three million Jews. Today there are six million Jews living in Israel. I teach that there will be much more destructive Islamic attacks coming which will make 9/11 pale in comparison. Millions will come running to Israel as a safe haven, including many intermarried Jews with Christians. Israel will need solutions for this mass arrival.

We are told in Deuteronomy 11:24-25 that the borders of Israel will expand “from the wilderness to Lebanon, and from the River, the river Euphrates, to the western sea [the Mediterranean] your territory shall be. There shall no man be able to stand before you; the Lord your God shall lay the fear and the dread of you upon all the land that you shall tread.”

Breaking Israel News: In 1997, in your book “Is Fanatic Islam a Global Threat?”, you warned about a coming Islamic terrorist event. What led you to predict this?

Lipkin: My wife was watching Arabic TV. Behind the speaker, she saw a calendar that had an image of the Twin Towers burning. When you pay attention to what is being said and shown by the Arabs, it is clear what their intentions are.

Breaking Israel News: What do you hope people gain from your class Five Deceptions of Islam?

Lipkin: My goal is to awaken people to be strong defenders of Israel. There are many ways to do this – economically, religiously, through tourism, politically, and more. In many ways, Christians deeply understand the threat that Islam poses on both Jews and the Christians. There is strength in numbers. Christians have a horrible past towards Jews. Today, we can join forces for the good.
