Head of Yisrael Beitenu (Israel is our home) Avigdor Liberman revealed that Prime Minister Netanyahu sent a delegation consisting of two security officials to Qatar in mid-February reports Arutz 7. That information however, was under gag order making it illegal for the former Defense Minister to release it to the public.
According to Liberman, “two Wednesdays ago, the head of the Mossad and the head of the southern command were sent by Netanyahu, and they both begged the Qataris to continue their cash flow to Hamas after March 30.”
The Israel Hayom newspaper reported that the visit was under strict a strict military gag order calling it a serious violation of the law.
After hearing this information, bereaved parents Leah and Simcha Goldin, whose son Hadar’s body was kidnapped during Operation Protective Edge in Gaza, penned a letter to Netanyahu’s military secretary Avi Blott and to the head of MIA Soldiers Liason Yaro Blum demanding an immediate meeting with the Prime Minister.
The Goldin family released a statement saying: “Netanyahu gave both personal and public commitments that there will be no arrangements with Gaza without (first) returning the bodies of the soldiers who went missing in action. The latest updates prove that again, an opportunity was missed to get the bodies of Hadar, Oron (Shaul) Abrah and Hisham.” All of the aforementioned names are referring to IDF soldiers who went missing in action in Gaza.
