On June 5, Breaking Israel News will hold its first-ever official media conference, entitled the “Prophecy in the News” Conference, in Jerusalem. The inaugural conference, which takes place on the 50th anniversary of the beginning of the Six Day War, marks a full 50 years – or jubilee – since the Israel Defense Forces gloriously united a divided Jerusalem in 1967, thereby setting into motion an incredible chain of miraculous and prophetic events which continue to deeply impact Israel today.
Featuring a diverse group of Jewish and Christian voices at the forefront of creating and reporting on religious news in Israel, the conference will consist of four discussion panels on major topics impacting religious media and journalism in Israel.
“The Prophecy in the News conference will be a truly unique and unprecedented event,” said Breaking Israel News publisher Rabbi Tuly Weisz. “Never before in history have we seen anything like this: the entire world, through modern media, has a front-row seat to the miracles and prophecies that are coming to life in Israel.
“But the world also has a front-row seat to the kind of vicious media bias which paints Israel as the source of all problems in the Middle East, or worse. Journalists and reporters today face a built-in prejudice against Israel which makes it difficult for the truth to get through,” he continued.
“That’s why we decided to hold this conference, which will be especially meaningful at the 50th anniversary, or jubilee, of Jerusalem’s unification.”
Speakers will include Knesset member Rabbi Yehudah Glick; David Parsons of the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem, Head of Republican Overseas Israel Mark Zell; founder of Prophecy News Watch Kade Hawkins; end-times author Rabbi Pinchas Winston; and many more Jewish and Christian newsmakers and journalists.
The panel conversations will touch on the Jerusalem Jubilee, reporting on Israel in a world of “fake news” and media bias, miraculous events shaping the next 50 years, and the pitfalls and promises of reporting on prophetic and Biblical issues in the mainstream news.
Taking place in Jerusalem’s Bible Lands Museum, the conference has limited space, but it will be broadcast live online for free.
The Prophecy in the News Conference is part of a larger initiative called “Rejoice Jerusalem”. Spearheaded by Israel advocacy organization Israel365, the initiative celebrates 50 years of a united Jerusalem in the land of Israel with a week-long tour of the land, a gala dinner, and a unique commemorative journal.
