New statistics released by the Israeli Defense establishment reveal some startling facts about the Palestinian terrorists behind attacks against Israelis since September.
130 Palestinians carried out acts of violence and terror against Israeli security officials and civilians. 47 of the terrorists came from Hebron and nearby surrounding villages, located only 30 kilometers (19 miles) from Jerusalem.
An overwhelming majority – 115 – of the terrorists were men, compared to only 15 females. 110 terrorists were single, with an average age of 21.
Security officials did note that only a handful of these 130 terrorists were officially connected to terror groups and none had acted on direct orders by terror officials.
According to Israel, more than 20 Israelis have been killed in what have become almost daily shooting, car-ramming, stabbing and stone throwing attacks by Palestinians.
