Report: Germany to Deport Disqualified Refugees without Warning

The German federal government is prepared to deport migrants who are denied asylum at a faster pace than before, without warning, Bild reported. According to Sputnik, the EU countries are determined not to be overwhelmed by the escalating refugee crisis, and are busy devising legal means of ridding themselves of the tens of thousands who are escaping every week to Europe from the war-torn Middle East and North Africa.

Chancellor Angela Merkel has warned migrants from countries that are not suffering from civil war conditions should not attempt to seek asylum in Germany.

According to Bild, the only exception in processing will be asylum seekers who are able to prove that their countries of origin are Iraq or Syria. But arriving refugees—who are entering Germany at a rate of nearly 10,000 a day—who fail to prove they’re fleeing a war-torn region, will be deported speedily, regardless of weather conditions.

ABC Australia reported that Slovenia has called in the army to control the surge of asylum seekers trying to get to northern Europe before winter begins. Apparently, Slovenia is the latest hotspot for asylum seekers since last Saturday, when Hungary sealed off its border with Croatia. This drove about 20,000 migrants to Slovenia — a nation of two million people. Slovenian soldiers will patrol the nation’s border with Croatia, detain migrants and hand them over to police.

The UN announced on Tuesday that more than half a million migrants have arrived by sea in Greece in 2015, in a rush to beat the onset of winter. They mostly continue north to Macedonia, then cross to Serbia, Croatia and Slovenia. That sea of humanity used to move through Hungary, whose borders are now sealed tightly.
