CNN Fudges Reports Regarding Judea and Samaria

Following a violent day in Judea and Samaria which saw a stabbing attack, a rock throwing attack, a series of firebomb attacks, and an attempted knife attack, tensions have risen once again. In addition, anti-Israel media bias continues to be widespread regarding these events.

Over the course of 24 hours between Sunday and Monday night, numerous terrorist attacks were perpetrated across Judaea and Samaria.  A Palestinian female terrorist stabbed an Israeli man with a knife in Gush Etzion on Monday morning. She was shot and wounded by IDF soldiers at the scene and taken to hospital in Jerusalem. The victim was lightly wounded and treated on site by paramedics.

On Highway 60, the main thoroughfare of Judaea and Samaria, between the towns of Ofra and Shiloh, Palestinians threw stones at an Israeli bus. No injuries were reported.

Earlier in the day, Border Police arrested an 18 year old Palestinian carrying a large knife near the Tapuach junction.

On Sunday evening, Palestinians threw two firebombs into the backyard of a house in the town of Beit-El.

These attacks come amid heightened tensions between Palestinians and Israelis following weeks of terror attacks and violence.

CNN reported with their typical panache on some of these stories. Regarding the stabbing incident in Gush Etzion their original headline read: “Palestinian teenage girl shot after knife attack on Israeli man”. They later changed the headline to read: “Knife wielding Palestinian girl attacks Israeli man, Police shoot her”.

The media bias that CNN and other media outlets have shown towards the Israeli – Palestinian conflict continues unabated.
