Nachum welcomed Malcolm Hoenlein, Executive Vice Chairman of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, who called in live to JM in the AM this morning for the Weekly Update. Nachum and Malcolm began this week’s update with a look at the attack on Rabbi Yehuda Glick, may he have a quick recovery, and how the attack fits into a larger picture of anti-Israeli/anti-Jewish activity. Nachum asked Malcolm to address the need for Jewish leadership to heighten their protection in light of what happened to Rabbi Glick. They covered a number of other timely issues including Israel’s access to the Temple Mount, alleged statements from the White House regarding Prime Minister Netanyahu, the importance of voting in the upcoming elections, and much more.
