We all know about the tragic, recent kidnapping of three Israeli yeshiva students by Hamas terrorists. The Chief Rabbis of Israel have urged us to recite Psalm 130 for the safety of the boys. Each and every day at 11 am EST, until the boys return home, we will be storming the gates of heaven and beseeching the Almighty with the words of King David’s Psalm.

With the hope that all can join us, we have included below the English translation of Psalm 130. In the merit of Jews and non Jews around the world joining together in concern and solidarity, may we see the safe return of the boys to their families soon.

Please say the following prayers for Eyal Yifrah, 19, Gilad Shaar, 16, and Naftali Frenkel, 16:

1.  A song of ascents. From the depths I have called You, O Lord.

2. O Lord, hearken to my voice; may Your ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.

3. O God, if You keep [a record of] iniquities, O Lord, who will stand?

4. For forgiveness is with You, in order that You be feared.

5. I hoped, O Lord; yea, my soul hoped, and I wait for His word.

6. My soul is to the Lord among those who await the morning, those who await the morning.

7. Israel, hope to the Lord, for kindness is with the Lord and much redemption is with Him.

8. And He will redeem Israel from all their iniquities.
