Terror Loving PA/Fatah Use All Means of Communication to Promote Terror and End of Israel

  • On social media: Fatah threatens more murderous terror
  • In public speeches: Terror is promoted and terrorist murderers are glorified
  • In interviews: Officials endorse terror attacks
  • In poems: Terrorists and murder are glorified
  • On TV: Israel’s right to exist is denied – All of Israel is “Palestine”
  • In songs: Violence is promoted

The PA and Fatah use every means of communication at their disposal to promote and endorse violence and terror. From songs broadcasted on social media, poems published in the official PA daily and images on TV to statements by PA and Fatah officials at public events – they never miss an opportunity to glorify terrorists and encourage continued “struggle” for “Palestine from the Mediterranean Sea to the Jordan River.”

The following are recent examples of the PA’s use of these different means of communication to stress their ideologies:

On social media: Fatah threatens more murderous terror:

  • Fatah threatens more terror like attacks in which 15 Israelis were murdered

On one of its official Facebook pages, Fatah posted a statement by a TV host threatening more terror like the recent attacks in Be’er Sheva, Bnei Brak, Tel Aviv, and Elad in which 15 people were murdered:

Host: “The firm truth is one: Palestine belongs to the Palestinians only, armed struggle is their method, the Martyrs are their beacons, Jenin is their bride, and every attack on it is a declaration of a war in which no one will win other than Jenin’s sons… If you pounce on him [Mahmoud Debiy] (i.e., wanted terrorist), we will pay you back with interest: one portion in Be’er Sheva, one in Bnei Brak, in Tel Aviv, and in Elad (i.e., places of terror attacks, 15 murdered).

In public speeches: Terror is promoted and terrorist murderers are glorified:

  • Abbas, PA, PLO, Fatah “salute” imprisoned terrorist Marwan Barghouti “with appreciation and pride,” all imprisoned terrorists are “symbol of our honor”

Fatah Central Committee member Abbas Zaki: “On behalf of [PA] President Mahmoud Abbas, head of the PLO… and president of the [Palestinian] state, and on behalf of Fatah, the [Fatah] Central Committee, Revolutionary Council, and Advisory Council, we salute knight leader in the depths of the occupation’s prison Marwan Barghouti with appreciation and pride… A blessing to all those who have sat [in prison] for more than 40 years, from Hamas, [Islamic] Jihad, Fatah, and all the Palestinian movements, as these prisoners are the symbol of our honor.”

[Official PA TV, Giants of Endurance, May 26, 2022]

Abbas Zaki made this statement at a PA ceremony marking the 20th anniversary of the arrest of terrorist Marwan Barghouti, who orchestrated shooting attacks in which 5 people were murdered (see below).

In interviews: Officials endorse terror attacks:

  • Top Fatah official in favor of terror against Israel: “I condemn anyone who condemns a Palestinian self-sacrificing operation”

The term “self-sacrificing operation” is the PA euphemism for terror attacks.

Fatah Central Committee member Abbas Zaki: “I call now for a united leadership and call on all those carrying weapons to unite for the sake of saving the land… Deceit is their [Israeli] habit…

Al-Mayadeen host: “That’s their nature.”

Abbas Zaki: “That’s [their] nature. [Their] nature is like that. If you turn your back you won’t be safe. Therefore, confrontation is what provides security…

I condemn anyone who condemns a Palestinian self-sacrificing operation, because for us, as long as there is an occupation there is resistance.”

In poems: Terrorists and murder are glorified:

  • Terrorist who led murder of 37, among them 12 children, is glorified in poem in official PA daily

The following glorification of murderer Dalal Mughrabi – who led the most lethal attack against Israel in which 37 civilians were murdered, among them 12 children – was part of a poem printed in the official PA daily:

“Regarding Dalal [Mughrabi] on the boat,

she wrapped herself in the kerchief of the keffiyeh and a skirt,

and wrote a page in history with a machine gun and knife…

We turned to the paths of liberation with blood and a strong hand,

As for you, you fascist [Israel] – your fate is black thanks to my bullets”

[Official PA daily Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, June 12, 2022]

Palestinian Media Watch has exposed several poems by this writer that demonize Jews/Israelis and call to destroy Israel.

On TV: Israel’s right to exist is denied – All of Israel is “Palestine”:

  • Fatah official: Palestinians have a right to “Palestine between the [Mediterranean] Sea and the [Jordan] River… we will pursue them to take this right”

Fatah Revolutionary Council Secretary Majed Al-Fatiani: “There will be no sovereignty over this land except for the Palestinians… even if there is a foreign and transient case as the transients who came in the history of Palestine and returned to where they came from… [The Israelis] must understand that Palestine between the [Mediterranean] Sea and the [Jordan] River- every Palestinian man and woman has a right to it, and we will pursue them to take this right … Every year a generation arises among us that says: My home is in Jaffa, my home is in Tantura, my home is in the Upper Galilee, in Al-Bassa, in Lod, my home is in Ramle, Umm Al-Rashrash (i.e., Eilat; all the places are in Israel), and everywhere.”

  • Images of maps of “Palestine” erase Israel

The PA map of “Palestine” that presents all of Israel together with the PA areas as “Palestine” is shown as an introduction to a program on official PA TV. [Official PA TV, The City Center, June 14, 2022; June 16, 2022]

In songs: Violence is promoted:

  • Fatah song urges violence: “With my machine gun I march on my land”

The video shows old footage of Fatah fighters performing military drills with assault rifles, rocket launchers, mortars, and other weapons while a song plays in the background.

Lyrics: “With my machine gun I march on my land in the wedding of victory…

I swear by Allah that I will not retreat from my enemies

A self-sacrificing fighter only speaks with them with fire and cannons”

The following are additional details about the terrorists and attacks mentioned above and a longer excerpt of the poem in the official PA daily:

Abbas Zaki also serves as Fatah Commissioner for Arab and China Relations.

Marwan Barghouti – Palestinian terrorist and member of the Palestinian Authority parliament who is serving 5 life sentences for orchestrating three shooting attacks in which 5 people were murdered: one attack on the Jerusalem-Maale Adumim road (June 12, 2001) in which Greek Orthodox monk Tsibouktsakis Germanus was murdered by terrorists Ismail Radaida and Yasser Ah’Rabai, another attack at a gas station in Givat Zeev near Jerusalem (Jan. 15, 2002) in which Yoela Hen was murdered by terrorists led by Mohammed Matla, and one shooting and stabbing attack at the Seafood Market restaurant in Tel Aviv (March 5, 2002) in which Eli Dahan, Yosef Habi, and Police Officer Sergeant-Major Salim Barakat, were murdered by terrorist Ibrahim Hasouna. When arrested by Israel in 2002, Barghouti headed the Tanzim (Fatah terror faction). After he was convicted and imprisoned, he was re-elected as a member of the Palestinian Authority parliament. On Dec. 4, 2016, he was elected to Fatah’s Central Committee.

Mahmoud Debiy – wanted Palestinian terrorist arrested as part of investigation of Al-Jazeera journalist Shireen Abu Akleh’s death.

Shireen Abu Akleh – 51-year-old Palestinian-American journalist for Al-Jazeera who was shot and killed while covering a gunbattle initiated by Palestinian terrorists who attacked Israeli forces during an operation in Jenin on May 11, 2022. The PA immediately accused Israel of shooting Abu Akleh without providing evidence. Israel rejected the accusation, noting Palestinian terrorists were filmed shooting indiscriminately and saying they had hit an Israeli soldier even though no soldiers were wounded, possibly indicating they had shot Abu Akleh. The PA rejected Israel’s request to conduct a joint investigation of the incident, and its request to let it examine the bullet that killed Abu Akleh to determine whether it was fired by Israeli forces. The bullet is of a type used by both Israeli soldiers and Palestinian terrorists. In a press conference following Abu Akleh’s autopsy on the day of her death, Head of An-Najah National University’s Forensic Medicine Department Dr. Rayyan Al-Ali said it could not yet be determined which side shot her.

“One portion in Be’er Sheva” refers to the following attack:

Muhammad Abu Al-Qi’an – Israeli Bedouin terrorist and ISIS supporter who murdered 4 Israeli civilians – Doris Yachbas, Laura Yitzhak, Rabbi Moshe Kravitsky, and Menachem Yehezkel – and wounded 2 others in a car ramming and stabbing attack at an outdoor shopping mall in Be’er Sheva on March 22, 2022, before two Israeli civilians shot and killed him to stop his rampage. Al-Qi’an was a high school teacher and mosque preacher in Hura in the Negev who previously served 4 years in prison for attempting to join ISIS in Syria and inciting to terror in his sermons; he was released in 2019.

“One in Bnei Brak” refers to the following attack:

Diya Ahmed Hassan Hamarsheh – Palestinian terrorist and Fatah member who shot and murdered 5 people – Israeli civilians Rabbi Avishai Yehezkel and Ya’akov Yisrael Shalom, Israeli police officer Amir Khoury, and 2 foreign workers from Ukraine identified as Alexander and Dmitry – in Bnei Brak near Tel Aviv on March 29, 2022. An Israeli police officer shot and killed Hamarsheh, ending the attack. Hamarsheh, from Ya’abad near Jenin, had been working in Israel illegally. He was imprisoned for 6 months in 2015 for dealing in illegal weapons and membership in a terror organization.

“One in Tel Aviv” refers to the following attack:

Ra’ad Hazem – 28-year-old Palestinian terrorist who shot and murdered 3 Israeli civilians – 27-year-olds Tomer Morad and Eytam Magini and 35-year-old Barak Lufan – and wounded 14 others when he opened fire on a crowded bar on Dizengoff Street in central Tel Aviv on April 7, 2022. Hazem escaped the scene of the attack and was found hiding near a mosque in Jaffa by Israeli security forces several hours later. He opened fire on them and was killed in the ensuing shootout.

“One in Elad” refers to the following attack:

As’ad Al-Rifai and Subhi Abu Shuqeir – Palestinian terrorists aged 19 and 20 respectively who used axes and knives to murder 3 Israeli civilians – Oren Ben Yiftah, Yonatan Habakuk, and Boaz Gol – at a park in Elad east of Tel Aviv on Israeli Independence Day, May 5, 2022. Al-Rifai and Shuqeir worked in the town without work permits and therefore knew the area well. The two escaped after the attack and were arrested on May 8, 2022.

The following is an excerpt from a poem by Muhammad Al-Haifawi

Headline: “Revolutions and intifadas”

“After the revolution of [Izz A-Din] Al-Qassam (i.e., head of Muslim terror group in British Mandate period),

Abd Al-Qader [Al-Husseini] (i.e., Arab commander in the 1948 war) arose,

He let out a shout at Al-Qastal,

And advanced with his weapon,

He watered the land of Jerusalem with his blood,

What concerned the public was his top concern,

His two cousins walked on the same path.

Regarding Dalal [Mughrabi] (i.e., terrorist who led murder of 37, 12 of them children) on the boat, she wrapped herself in the kerchief of the keffiyeh (Arab headdress) and a skirt,

And wrote a page in history with a machine gun and knife.

Years later fate wrote the story of the people that rose up,

It laid its hands on the stones,

And with them it sacrificed and triumphed (refers to the “Stone Intifada,” Palestinian wave of violence and terror against Israel, approximately 200 Israelis murdered, 1987-1993 -Ed.).

The flag together with the keffiyeh created an identify for the homeland,

We turned to the paths of liberation with blood and a strong hand,

As for you, you fascist [Israel] – your fate is black thanks to my bullets

When you sip from my cup, you will see with your own eyes what you deserve

Return to where you came from, we are the source and the residents of the place

You keep on killing, haven’t you had enough? In the end your turn will come.”

[Official PA daily Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, June 12, 2022]

Sheikh Izz A-Din Al-Qassam was an influential Islamic preacher in British Mandate Palestine during the 1930s. He led a Muslim terror group. The Hamas terror wing is named after him – the Izz A-Din Al-Qassam Brigades.

Dalal Mughrabi – female Palestinian terrorist who led the most lethal terror attack in Israel’s history, known as the Coastal Road massacre, in 1978, when she and other Fatah terrorists hijacked a bus on Israel’s Coastal Highway, murdering 37 civilians, 12 of them children, and wounding over 70.
