Raichik tried to remain anonymous. But that all changed when a hit piece on her by the Bezos-funded Washington Post‘s was published and authored by Taylor Lorenz.

Ironically, Lorenz gained notoriety after playing victim to a doxxing campaign of online harassment she claims was aimed at her. Lorenz went so far as to break down in tears while recalling the harassment in an interview on MSNBC. Lorenz’s doxxing of Raichik’s identity, sent her into hiding.

The reason Lorenz was able to confirm that Raichik’s was behind the account was due to help from a former Twitter software developer. Travis Brown, a former Twitter open-source advocate according to his LinkedIn profile, revealed that Raichik was the person behind Libs of Tik Tok. 

Lorenz cited several of Brown’s tweets in her report published where she doxxed Raichik, who preferred to remain anonymous.

Brown’s work is part of an ongoing project supported by the Prototype Fund, an organization that provides financial backing to Brown’s “Hate speech-Tracker.” Prototype Fund is a project of the Open Knowledge Foundation Germany, and is backed by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).

Libs of Tik Tok boasts over 816,000 followers. Raichik’s plight was covered by Fox New’s Tucker Carlson. She received support from congressmen including Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene.
