Israeli tanks fired warning shots including flares and shells at suspicious figures seen approaching IDF forces operating along the border with Syria on Wednesday evening. The IDF said the suspects were seen manning “military posts,”  Explosions were heard in the Syrian town of Quneitra after the incident though Syrian media did not report any damage or casualties. The UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported Israeli aircraft hovering over the area, and that the shelling caused fires to break out. The suspected terrorists fled back into Syria.
