As Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett attempts to scare Israel with threats of a fifth wave of the coronavirus, the Israeli premier proposed a rather controversial plan to the Health Ministry.
In a meeting with officials from the Health Ministry, Bennett proposed a new restriction whereby kids that are vaccinated within six months only would be allowed to attend school, and kids who did not get the vaccine would be forced to distance learning.
The proposal is meant to pressure parents that are hesitant about vaccinating their kids to innoculate them against covid. The plan doesn’t seem to have much credibility since there is no proof that the vaccine can stop the Omicron variant and those who were vaccinated are liable to spread the virus anyways.
Another bizarre proposal by Bennett was to take kids on a ‘class field trip’ to their local HMO to get vaccinated.
