When you take the field against your enemies, and see horses and chariots—forces larger than yours—have no fear of them, for Hashem your God, who brought you from the land of Egypt, is with you.

An Israel Defense Forces unit opened fire on Tuesday at four Palestinian suspects who approached the Israeli community of Einav in northern Judea and Samaria.

According to a report by Kan news, one of the suspects was injured, and all four fled the scene.

The IDF said the suspects arrived at a point from where Palestinians typically hurl Molotov cocktails and rocks at the settlement’s fence.

The incident follows an uptick in violent incidents in the area, more commonly known as the West Bank.

On Monday, in nearby Nablus, a Palestinian who hurled explosives at soldiers was shot dead during clashes with the IDF, which involved exchanges of fire, the military said. He was later identified as Jamil al-Kayyal.

According to the Mako online Israeli news site, the attacker was killed during an IDF raid to arrest terror suspects who had fired on soldiers in the past. The IDF arrested the suspect and seized a locally produced automatic weapon.

After Border Police undercover units completed the arrest, Palestinians hurled additional explosives from a short range, stated Border Police. Soldiers opened fire in response, striking one attacker, who later died of his injuries.

On Sunday, a Palestinian man was killed during clashes at Givat Evyatar, also near Nablus, sparking riots in the area that saw Palestinian rock-throwers attack IDF soldiers, who responded with tear gas and rubber bullets, reported Mako.
