Ayala Hasson presented a report on Channel 13 on Thursday claiming that a senior Hamas official praised a member of the Ra’am party which is in the coalition government headed by Prime Minister Naftali Bennett. In the report, Hasson interviewed  Razi Issa, a senior member of the Ra’am party, asking him about a photo of an event in Gaza in which Razi Hamed, a senior Hamas official, is seen praising Issa.

In addition to being an MK for the Ra’am party, Issa is also the Chairman of the General Assembly of the Islamic Movement, Member of the Shura Council, and CEO of the 48 Association, an allegedly humanitarian organization that operates in Judea, Samaria, and Gaza. As the head of the 48 Association, Issa received special permission to travel to Gaza. Hasson presented a video in which Hamed is seen thanking him personally and his association.

In her news program, Hasson asked Issa what Hamed was thanking him for.”What do you think he is thanking me for” Issa asks. She insists that the question is simple. Issa tries to deflect, asking Hasson to send her questions to him via Whatsapp. Hasson insists that the question requires an answer.

Issa replied: “All of Gaza is grateful for our treatment of widows and orphans.” Hasson responded: “Widows and orphans I understand, but what’s a senior Hamas official thanking you for?”

“Who is a senior Hamas official?” Issa asked. “Who are you talking about?”

“Razi Hamed is not a senior Hamas official?” Hasson asked.

At which point Issa dodged: “How should I know?”

Hasson noted that the aid given to Gaza by Issa’s organization was reportedly humanitarian but there is currently no information either supporting or challenging that claim. It has been documented that much of the humanitarian aid given to Gaza by international groups and other nations has been usurped by Hamas for use in terrorism against Israel.

According to Hasson, another MK from Ra’am was also connected with Hamas. She also pointed out that all of the coalition negotiations were carried out by the budget officials in the offices of the 48 Association and were overseen by Razi Issa.

Hasson will be making an additional report on the same topic on Friday night in which she claims there will be even more shocking revelations.

MK Itamar Ben Gvir (Otzma Yehudit), responded harshly to the video proof: “The writing was on the wall! Senior Ra’am officials have been maintaining ties with Hamas. We warned, we rang the alerts, we shouted. Today, everyone understands that Bennett and Lapid endanger the security of the State of Israel and work for terror supporters. Shame on you.”

MK Amichai Shikli, a member of PM Naftali Bennett’s party, warned his party members: “My fellow members in the Yamina party – it’s time to understand that this government has no right to exist. Return home to the national camp and dismantle this dangerous government.”

The Religious Zionism party responded: “Naftali Bennett was right when he said before the election, ‘Mansour Abbas is a sister movement of Hamas. Collaborating with Ra’am is a very crazy and serious thing. It is forbidden to cooperate with the Israeli branch of the Muslim Brotherhood.’”

MK Simcha Rotman (Religious Zionism party) responded to the report: “I have no idea how Zionist people can be in this pro-terror government. Unfortunately, from Yamina and New Hope, there are no expectations at all, but what are Blue and White, Yesh Atid and the Labor Party doing in such a government?”

MK Shlomo Karhi (Likud) said: “A government of terrorist supporters. Hamas passes instructions to its subordinates in the government and Bennett carries them out. Israel on the brink of an abyss. The Shura Council has never had such good days as under Bennett and Shaked. The Muslim Brotherhood is in full swing.”
