A recent video uploaded by Third Temple activist Michael Miller shows a street cleaner, hired and managed by the Muslim Waqf cleaning the stones of the Temple Mount. But cleaning the site appears to be for the sake of appearances. That’s because moments later, all of the waste that was collected after cleaning the mount got dumped on the very same place it was cleaned from – the Temple Mount.
The Waqf, a Muslim organization run by Jordan, act as the custodians of the site and are hired by the Hashemite Kingdom to monitor and harass Jewish pilgrims wo enter the location of the first and second Temples. According to Jewish tradition, even the dirt from the Mount is significant as it represents the ashes of the Temple’s destruction. Ironically, the Waqf will often alert police if a Jewish pilgrim even picks up dirt from the Temple Mount and has convinced the Israeli Police not to allow it to happen. This begs the question – If they also believe that the mount’s dirt is holy, why dump waste on it?
The video that most Muslims probably don’t want you to see comes just days after Waqf official, Sheikh Mohammad Azzam Al-Khatib Al-Tamimi told an envoy from the Vatican that the Temple Mount is an exclusive place of worship for Muslims only even comparing it to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher for Christians.
The Temple Mount has often been declared as a Muslim Holy Site claiming that it is the third holiest site in Islam, from where Muhammed is believed to have ascended to heaven.
This is not the first time the Muslims who claim that the Temple Mount is a holy site have desecrated it. In 2018, Breaking Israel News reported on light construction being performed on the stone inside the Dome of Rock in a manner that entirely disregards the sanctity of the site.
